When tasked with the design of a restaurant or coffee shop, More Than a Cup of Joe was created. Located in Naperville, IL, this cafe was designed to fill the void of an upscale local coffee shop with ample outdoor seating and a large glass atrium.

CONCEPT
At the core of the design concept for More Than a Cup of Joe is creating that local coffee shop feels while still having a luxurious experience. This local luxury coffee shop atmosphere will be completed by using a modern farmhouse style, a neutral color/material scheme, and luxury modern furniture and accents.
To create a comfortable and inviting atmosphere, white shiplap combined light concrete, oak wood, and black steel windows. These materials used with a neutral color palette will make the space feel homey but luxurious.
